Brandie Mask is a 2012 graduate of Yale Law School and a BigLaw Attorney currently living in Texas.  We connected over two years ago and planned a podcast episode about taking a sabbatical way before I even had a podcast.  In fact, that conversation was an encouragement to start a podcast. I remember thinking, "I told Brandie that I was going to host one, and so I did!"

Years later, we discuss how integral traveling is to her continued success as a lawyer.  We reflect on how her experiences abroad gave her the confidence to leave BigLaw and not be afraid to re-enter it.  

Many of us have had time to think during this pandemic about life beyond the insular world of BigLaw. Hopefully, this episode will inspire you to take a big trip if you are remotely considering it.  Or perhaps even work 'remotely' from another country.
